My name is Dara Kissel and I am majoring in neuroscience and minoring in business at The University of Michigan - go blue! I stumbled upon my passion for graphic design accidentally. Senior year of high school, I learned I had not completed enough art credits - and the only open class was Design and Technology. From the first time I opened Adobe Illustrator, I never looked back.

I’m on the pre-med track and plan to attend medical school. I know what you’re thinking: science and graphic design? Those don’t go together. However, I disagree. To me, science and graphic design intersect at creativity, curiosity, path-making, and a love for pursuing the unknown. They intersect at a meticulous attention to detail.
